About Me/My interests: I am currently the Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine. I currently work with hematology, oncology, and solid organ transplant patients. I have participated in research that has examined the impact of quality of life in children with Neurofibromatosis-1; the factors that influence parents’ decision-making regarding analgesic use; and awareness of and understanding of the choking game, an adolescent risk behavior. For my dissertation, I examined the ability of patient readiness to change to predict treatment progress in youth receiving services at a multidisciplinary specialty clinic for chronic pain.
