About Me/My interests: I work with children, adolescents, and their families in an outpatient clinic setting. I do both outpatient therapy as well as psychological testing. I specialize in working with youngsters and their families who are experiencing or are impacted by a chronic or life-threatening medical illness, youngsters who have experienced sexual abuse , and youngsters who are experiencing anxiety and depression. I also work with families to help improve family communication skills and build positive parent/child relationships. I participate in a collaboration to better serve our pediatric oncology program by coordinating psychosocial services. I also participate in an interdisciplinary clinic to assess Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
Training Opportunities: Yes – undergraduate practicum’s are currently available in research and clinical work.
