About Me/My interests: I have developed and pilot-tested a guided self-help intervention for parents of children with cancer and I´m currently (June, 2011) coordinating a randomized controlled trial investigating the efficacy of this intervention. I´m also analyzing data from a longitudinal project following parents of children with cancer, and we are investigating different development trajectories and the factor structure of traumatic stress. I´m also interested in the role of experiential avoidance and rumination in the development and maintenance of symptoms of traumatic stress in general and in parents of children with serious illnesses in particular.
I also have a general interest in methodology and a special interest in structural equation modeling and applications such as latent growth curve modeling.
