The Center for Pediatric Psychiatry and the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Children’s Medical Center Dallas

The Center for Pediatric Psychiatry and the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Children’s Medical Center Dallas seek a full-time psychologist to provide clinical services to children and adolescents in Oncology. Clinical work will include evaluation, inpatient and outpatient intervention, and close collaboration with other members of the CCBD team. The psychologist in this position will also participate in supervision and training activities. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program and must have completed an APA-accredited internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology or clinical child psychology. Applicants who speak Spanish and have experience working with Oncology populations and with early childhood populations will be given preference. Evidence for commitment to research with this population is also preferred. An additional requirement is a full license in Texas or a license out-of-state with Provisional Licensure status in Texas by date of hire. The psychologist chosen for the position will also be considered for a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern.
