Title: Family/Parents/Pediatric Therapist
Description: The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is expanding its clinical and research programs and invites applications from psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers with experience in family, couples, parental and pediatric work for a faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences (Psycho-oncology).
Eligibility: Candidates (PhD or M.D.) should have Fellowship training appropriate for their discipline. Candidates must have experience and appropriate training in family therapy, including working with children. Candidates must also have the ability to work with adult families where a parent is dying to address bereavement issues with adolescents and children. Candidates will be joining a well-established department of clinician researchers and should be interested in pursuing an academic career. A record of significant academic accomplishment, including a record of external funding, would be desirable. Faculty have clinical (patient care responsibilities), teaching (participation in Fellowship training), and research responsibilities. Appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee’s experience and training.
