MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER invites applications from psychologists and psychiatrists with experience in pediatric psycho-oncology and particular expertise in working with parents and families in the pediatric oncology setting for a faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. Candidates must have clinical experience and appropriate training (PhD or MD) in working with children with cancer (and/or other medical illnesses) and their parents/families. Interest in working with adolescents and children whose adult parents have cancer is also desirable. Candidates will be joining an outstanding multidisciplinary pediatric oncology psychosocial care team in a well-established department of clinician researchers. Candidates should be interested in pursuing an academic career. A record of significant academic accomplishment, including a record of external funding, would be desirable. Faculty have clinical (patient care), teaching (Fellowship training), and research responsibilities.
