Family-Focused Pediatric Psycho-Oncology Faculty Position

MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER invites applications from psychologists and psychiatrists with experience in pediatric psycho-oncology and particular expertise in working with parents and families in the pediatric oncology setting for a faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. Candidates must have clinical experience and appropriate training (PhD or MD) in working with children with cancer (and/or other medical illnesses) and their parents/families. Interest in working with adolescents and children whose adult parents have cancer is also desirable. Candidates will be joining an outstanding multidisciplinary pediatric oncology psychosocial care team in a well-established department of clinician researchers. Candidates should be interested in pursuing an academic career. A record of significant academic accomplishment, including a record of external funding, would be desirable. Faculty have clinical (patient care), teaching (Fellowship training), and research responsibilities. This search is open to potential faculty at all levels of career experience and appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee’s experience.
