The Nemours/ A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children is committed to providing access to high-quality, family-centered health care for children and adolescents, and has developed several initiatives to improve access to behavioral health services. We are in search of two psychologists to expand these initiatives by providing services to children and families in two settings: our hospital-based, multidisciplinary Access Clinic and our integrated primary care satellite clinics. At the Nemours duPont Pediatrics primary care satellite clinics, psychologists are an integral part of the medical home treatment team for a culturally and economically diverse patient population. Opportunities to provide consultation and treatment in Spanish are available. Across the hospital and satellite settings, the psychologists will have opportunities to work closely with medical colleagues to expand integrative care initiatives.
The Division of Behavioral Health includes nineteen psychologists, three psychiatrists, an APA-approved Psychology Internship program and an active Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. The Division of Behavioral Health is part of the Nemours Neuroscience Center, along with the closely aligned disciplines of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Developmental Pediatrics, and Rehabilitative Medicine.
