Pediatric Pain Psychologist
Boston Children's Hospital

The Departments of Psychiatry and Anesthesiology, Boston Children’s Hospital are seeking a pediatric psychologist for a full time position in the Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Center at Boston Children’s Hospital Waltham. This is a primarily clinical position with opportunities to participate in ongoing clinical research within this innovative program and potential to develop independent research projects. The psychologist will provide services as part of an interdisciplinary intensive day-hospital pain rehabilitation program for children and adolescents with a range of chronic pain conditions associated with functional disability. Specific clinical training and skills in pediatric pain management, including the application of cognitive-behavioral, biofeedback, and family systems interventions with children and families are required. Experience working in collaborative multidisciplinary health care teams strongly preferred. Opportunities for teaching and supervision will be available. Harvard Medical School faculty appointment will most likely be at the Instructor level. The applicant must possess a Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology.
