Pediatric Psychologist, Hem/Onc

The Psychology Department of St. Louis Children’s Hospital is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a full time pediatric psychologist to serve as liaison to the Hematology/Oncology program. We are seeking an individual with prior experience working with interdisciplinary teams, with Hem/Onc experience preferred. The primary duties will include inpatient and outpatient psychological consultation, assessment, and intervention for children with cancer and blood disorders and their families. In addition, the psychologist will have opportunities to participate in clinical program development, collaborative research, and supervision of post-doctoral trainees.
Requirements include completion of an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program in psychology, formal training in pediatric psychology, and license eligibility in Missouri.
The SLCH Psychology Department consists of 9 pediatric/child clinical psychologists and 5 pediatric neuropsychologists all of whom hold clinical appointments in the Washington University School of Medicine. St. Louis Children’s Hospital is considered a premier clinical and medical training facility.
