Shuang Yan, Ph.D

I graduated from Peking University Health Science Center (Beijing Medical University) in 2003 and achieved my PhD in Cancer Hospital & Institute of Peking Union Medical College in 2008. On June 2009, I joined the CMBS family. My project is focused on tumor initiating cells in Neuroblastoma. With the collaborators in NCI and Children hospitals in Canada, we have identified TICs from NB patients and now, we are aiming to trace the genetic and epigenetic changes of NB TICs so as to limit the bone marrow relapse in most NB patients.
