Nirali Shah, MD, Clinical Fellow

Dr. Nirali Shah received her M.D. from University of Illinois as a member of AOA (medical honor society). In 2008, she completed the Combined Harvard Internal Medicine/Pediatric Internship and Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital/Children's Hospital, Boston, serving as Chief Resident during her last year. Dr. Shah is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She joined the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Training Program at Johns Hopkins University and National Cancer Institute in 2009, and is now based primarily at NIH.
Dr. Shah works on clinical trial development for patients with leukemia and lymphoma. She is specifically interested in the evaluation and treatment of patients with hematologic malignancy who relapse after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. She is also currently working towards her Masters Degree in clinical research through the Duke University and NIH joint program.
