H. Udo Kontny MD
Dr.  Kontny undertook clinical training in the NCI Fellowship Program in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and then a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 1996-1999.  He currently serves as Vice Chair, Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, University of Freiburg, Germany.

Margret Merino MD
Dr. Merino undertook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 1998-2001.  She currently serves as Chief, Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Fraia Melchionda MD
Dr. Melchionda undertook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2001-2004.  She currently serves as Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, University of Bologna, Italy

Melinda Merchant MD/PhD
 Dr. Merchant undertoook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 1999-2004.  She then served as a Assistant Member Physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York from 2005-2009. She returned to the Pediatric Oncology Branch in 2009 as Director of the Clinical Sarcoma Service.

Terry Fry MD
Dr. Fry undertook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 1997-2002.  He then served as Chief of the Department of Immunology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Children’s National Medical Center.  He is currently a senior investigator in the Pediatric Oncology Branch, National Cancer Institute.

Kristen Snyder MD
Dr. Snyder undertook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2003-2007.  She then served as Attending Physician and Assistant Professor Georgetown University, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and is currently an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University.

Aviva Krauss MD
Dr. Krauss undertook a research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2005-2008.  She currently serves as Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in Bone Marrow Transplantation, Schneider Children’s Hospital, Tel Aviv, Israel.

Martin Guimond PhD
Dr. Guimond undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2003-2008.  He currently runs an independent laboratory and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal, Quebec.

Melissa McKirdy Hazen MD
Dr. Hazen undertook a one year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2000-2001 as part of the NIH Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP). She is currently an Attending Physician in Rheumatology at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Sarah Taylor Tasian MD
Dr. Tasian undertook a one year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2001-2002 as part of the NIH Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Cloister Program.  She then completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington, then a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. She is currently an Instructor in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania.

Achiamah Osei-Tutu MD
Dr. Osei-Tutu undertook a one year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2002-2003 as part of the NIH Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Cloister Program. Dr. Osei-Tutu is a Dermatologist in private practice in New York City.

Jessica Karl Shand MD
Dr. Shand undertook a one year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2003-2004 as part of the NIH Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Cloister Program.  She then completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester and subsequently completed her Fellowship in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology in the Combined Johns Hopkins/National Cancer Institute Fellowship Program. She plans to return to the University of Rochester as an Assistant Professor in 2013.

Tom Krupica MD
Dr. Krupica undertook a two-year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2004-2006 at part of the NIH Howard Hughes Medical Institute Cloister Program. He then completed a Residency in Pediatrics, and a Chief Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is currently a Fellow in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins.

Eunice Rhee MD
Dr. Rhee undertook a one-year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2006-2007 at part of the Clinical Research Training Program. She subsequently completed her Residency in Pediatrics and is currently a Fellow in Neonatology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Haven Garber MD
Dr. Garber undertook a one-year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2007-08 as part of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Cloister Program. She subsequently completed medical school at Ohio State and is currently a Resident in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital in Boston.

Natasha Fewkes PhD
Dr. Fewkes undertook a one year research fellowship in the Mackall laboratory from 2008-09 at part of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Cloister Program. She then enrolled in the NIH-Oxford/Cambridge Program and completed her PhD from 2009-2012. She is currently finished Medical School at the Oregon Health Sciences University.
