Neuro-Oncology
Clinical Trials

Clinical trials for children with CNS tumors include treatment and non-treatment studies.  Non-treatment studies include imaging investigations.  Treatment trials may be available for both newly diagnosed and recurrent tumors.  They include both Phase I studies, which are designed to evaluate safety, toxicity and pharmacokinetics of new agents, and Phase II studies which generally estimate efficacy of a treatment against a particular tumor type.
