Ambeeren Kurwa

Ambereen Kurwa is a currently between her 3rd and 4th years of medical school at Georgetown University and is conducting research in the POB as a Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) fellow. She is working on the characterization of whole-body tumor burden in patients with plexiform neurofibromas and NF1 as part of the NF1 Natural History Trial currently ongoing in our branch. She plans to continue with this research while completely a Masters in Public Health at Johns Hopkins next year before finishing medical school and is interested in cancer prevention.
