Manpreet Ahluwalia, MD, Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellow

Dr. Ahluwalia received her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 2003 and went on to complete her residency in pediatrics from UMDNJ, New Jersey in 2007. She is currently pursuing her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Children’s National Medical Center, D.C. (2007-2010). Dr. Ahluwalia joined Dr. Khanna’s laboratory as a guest researcher in 2008 as part of her fellowship training. Her research goals are to study the effect of drugs that cause metabolic dysregulation in sarcoma metastasis, and possibly establish its link to an aberrant energy metabolic pathway that influences metastatic phenotype.
